This resource was designed to teach children about different eras in the history of the railways. It is broken into different sections and can be used simply as a stimulus for discussion or an opportunity to find key facts. There are also ‘Task breaks’ after each section with accompanying maths activities. These were designed to promote problem solving and are aimed at upper KS2 and older (see below).
