Schools can send in images of the work that their children are doing today. Let’s see what some of them are up to:
Planning underway at St Clare’s:
And a range of work from Normanby Primary.
First up Y5:

‘Year 3 at Normanby have been engrossed in designing their characters this morning. They are basing their work today on the battles of Boudicca and the Iceni tribe as they try to defend Britain against the Roman Invasion.’

Y4 started by planning their story:

Then have progressed to bringing their ideas to life:

‘Children fromY3GA at Breckon Hill are planning and doing the art work for their animations based on the poem Best Friends by Valerie Bloom.’

And back to Y5 at Normanby who are starting to bring it all to life:

And Y3:

And we have our year long Animex Ambassadors here at the University today:

But as our Ambassadors they also got to experience some new animated game tools that one of the students has created as part of their final year project:

Interactive versions of their rockets brought to life, plus an interactive game:
So Y5 have now turned some of their ideas into animation:
And Y3 have continued all day long:

The brilliant Ambassadors had to get in with themselves today while I kept on top of the blog….they had only really a few hours o work and didn’t even have much access to the help guides. And scissors? We dreamed of a pair of scissors :). But even against all of that, they still puuled some great work together. For some, this wasn’t the first time, for others it was really aboput experimenting (and being taught by the other children). Some even wrote their own theme tunes! A brilliant day with brilliant people:
