Today was day 2 of 30 TVCA funded events to raise aspirations in the Tees Valley for primary school children. We had the pleasure of working with Mowden Primary School from Darlington and St Paulinus Primary School from Guisborough.

The children today were absolutely incredible! They coded their robots like pros, even adding the ‘gripper’ accessory to move cargo from one place to another. They also located key places and landmarks in the Tees Valley on massive floor maps and made films as part of their presentations when learning about different companies in the Tees Valley area.

It was hosted at the brand new AV Dawson HQ in Middlesbrough and it was fantastic to experience what it was like at a real life work venue (although this place felt more like a work family)! The weather was perfect and we were treated to spectacular views from around the Tees Valley from the top floor studio.
