Welcome to this year’s challenge! This page will develop over the next week or so until the day of the Challenge, Thursday June 19th.
We are releasing some of the resources early as a response to feedback from schools who wanted to give more time to build up to the event. On the day we still want children to have to work on the challenge, ideally in groups to build teamwork, communication, creativity and time management but an early release allows time to engage more deeply.
Some teachers have suggested using english lessons to develop a narrative that could be used as the basis of the game, others have suggested it gives them more time to watch all of the professional ‘Top Tips’ in the days leading up to the event – totally up to you.
We would prefer the children to NOT see the actual challenge video until the actual day
Teacher Guide with lots of ideas

What can you do? – quick ideas

There is no limit to what you can try but part of today’s learning is to work effectively to a timescale in a team, supporting each other to stick to the plan. The suggestions on the right are purely there to give you ideas. You can’t do all of them (unless you have a BIG group with lots of roles like a real Games studio).
