“I’ve just loved every minute of today!” one of the Year 4s from Brambles Primary Academy enthusiastically told us today during our Redcar & Cleveland College funded Energy Academy Workshop.

The awesome Year 4s from Brambles Primary school had a fun-filled morning taking part in our interactive science workshop. They began with learning about our area and the future careers in the energy sector which are right on their doorstep! They showed us that teamwork makes the dream work as they became energy engineers and set up their hydrogen-powered cars ready for the ‘Hydrogen Grand Prix.’ As well as stepping into the boots of a wind farm engineer, planning and building their own working model of a wind farm using their own breath to spin the turbine and power an LED bulb.

What a great morning with some really hardworking and resilient young scientists of the future!
