Back in April I made a series of short films about various places in the Tees Valley as part of a huge free resource bank for schools to help develop children’s awareness and appreciation of where they live.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago and I started exploring the use of Google Forms as a way to structure information for children’s online learning. I am currently supporting quite a number of schools with their online school offer which is Back to the Future for me since I used to support schools across the whole area with exactly the same sort of provision when the Government was demanding it. There’s nowt new under the sun it would seem.
Over the next few months I will be creating more and more resources in a similar style aimed at raising awareness for pupils of the local World of Work – all part of my continuing push to help schools develop cultural capital which raises attainment and creates better long term life chances for pupils.
