Find out how to get their job!

In Summary:

Meet Amy. Her job is to help organise things for Vessel Traffic Services, which helps manage ships at the port.

Here is what Amy does during her day:

• She works in an office using a computer to type up important paperwork for the ships.

• She uses the phone to call agents and find out the ETAs (this tells her what time the ships will arrive).

• She sits by the seaside and gets to look out the window at all the big ships passing by.

Amy says that being organised is the most important skill for her job because she has to test the systems to make sure they work properly. She learned how to do this work by doing a business administration apprenticeship when she was growing up.

Amy loves her job because every day is different, and she gets to work with the Harbour Master!
